Apparently, the Bush administration has no record to run on, because today Dick Cheney told Americans that they better duck and cover if John Kerry becomes president:
"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States.''
So much for the issues -- that's just dirty politics.
what a great way to scare the united states into voting for the wrong person. if we get "hit" again im sure it will be dealt with by more intellectual minds. SCREW BUSH, DICK, AND COLON!!!!!
Posted by: taylor krebs on September 9, 2004 03:23 AMMamma always told me to stay clear of lawyers unless there was some obvious way to get money out of it. The proposition that Kerry, with his trial lawyer backing, will lead us to Utopia sucks. (Yet more frivolous lawsuits should be really good for the healthcare system.)
Mamma told me to clutch my wallet and be ready to scream when guys like Kerry/Edwards drove up.
Can't you find some nicer mugs for me?

Posted by: Denny on September 10, 2004 04:36 PMFear is a dangerous thing. After every terror alert, government officials are telling New Yorkers to "go about their day" in order to show terrorists "we don't fear them" and will "not change our daily habits." Yet, completely against their comments, they will use any fear tactic necessary to contradict their reassuring words.
